We thank the Lord that approval has been granted to ABM for their organization as an independent society. We are now working towards organizing ABC as an independent church. Please continue to pray for the Lord to work all things out according to His good and perfect will.
THANKSGIVING, SUMATRA FAMILY
We thank the Lord for granting a safe and fruitful journey from Singapore to Ranong, Thailand and for returning the Sumatra family back to Singapore safely. Please continue to pray for the Lord’s Will to be established. We want to thank the Sumatra family also for their sharing and exhortation at the Youth & Young Adults SG meeting on Friday.
CONDOLENCES, SIS WENDY
Mdm. Lim Yik Ying, mother of Sis. Wendy Wong departed peacefully late on the night of 18 May just before midnight. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Sis. Wendy for the loss of her dearly beloved mother. She also like to thank the brethren for their support and prayers during this time, especially those who had spent time to be present to comfort her.
PRAYER FOR JOURNEY MERCIES
Please be in prayer for Bro. Ubin and Sis. Sophie as they will be travelling to Ireland to spend some time with Bro. Ubin’s grandmother who’s health is failing.
Please be in prayer also for Bro. James who is travelling on important work assignment and for Sis. Leet Ing who is currently taking a short break.

SPECIAL SUNDAY
Welcome to our Special Sunday. Our service begins at 9.30am and will be followed by our Annual General Meeting. There will be no Sunday School this morning.
The AGM will begin immediately after the service. This will be divided into the AGM proper which will then be officially closed and then followed by a business meeting so that we can quickly close all matters that pertain directly to the AGM and file our report with the authorities.
The AGM will be followed by a business meeting. The business meeting agenda will be as follows: 1. election of office holders 2. allocation of mission budget 3. finalization of church rental agreement. 4. Budget 2009

29 MAY, SHEPHERD GROUP MEETINGS
The Families & Teens and Young Families/Couples Shepherd Groups will be meeting at their respective meeting locations at 8pm on Friday.
30 MAY, VBS FINAL COORDINATION MEETING
We will be having a final coordination meeting for our Vacation Bible School on 30 May, Sat at 12pm in church. All VBS workers are kindly requested to be present at this very important final meeting and to bring their own lunch.
Those who have useful items that can be used as VBS awards, are kindly to hand them over to Sis. Rosalyn.
30 MAY, VBS VISITATION
We will be visiting VBS children and their families for the next Saturdays as part of our regular soul-winning and visitation programme.
UPCOMING EVENTS
10-13 JUNE, VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
The theme of this year’s VBS is FLIGHT: Faithfully Living In God’s Holy Truth and will be held at Kuo Chuan Primary School from 12pm to 6pm daily (10-13 June). Ages: 5 to 12 yrs old and the cost is $25 per child. Please pray that the Lord will bring children and for them to be saved. We thank the Lord also for giving to us a conÞrmed location.

MISSION TRIP TO CAMBODIA
We are planning for a Mission Trip to visit the mission work established by Pastor Manning. The trip is scheduled for 13th to 20th June. Those who would like to go please inform Bro. Chai Joo.
Please note that we are still collecting items that we can bring up with us on the Cambodia trip. If you have any items that you would like to give away, please bring them to church.
